I'm old enough to remember when Christmas decorations didn't go up until the day AFTER Thanksgiving. In most recent years, I've had to accept that the Christmas "season" starts mid-November. But today, we stopped at Target and guess what. You got it! Christmas decorations! The store clerk said they had been up for several days. Imagine. Christmas before Halloween now. I really do like Christmas .... the decorations, the music, the eggnog (especially the eggnog) but PLEASE .... one holiday at a time.

Isn't it just insane? I spotted the first trees in a boutique shop down the street from my workplace - this was at the beginning of October!
