This roving is perfection. It spins so easily that I had a full bobbin in no time. I bought two balls of this at the fiber festival in NC about a year ago and can't believe it has taken me so long to get to it. I am spinning up the second ball this afternoon and then will 2-ply it tomorrow. I have never spun Wensleydale before as all the festivals I have gone to have been full of Merino, Romney, Corriedale, and Leicester (and I've used a little Shetland from a friend of mine). This is so soft and so CLEAN. Just a pleasure to spin. The card in the bag said Fleeces, Rovings, and Yarn at gwenythglynn.com. I hope she has plenty of wool because I know I will be ordering more.

Back to the Spinning Wheel
